'Second Part': Chronological List (of Kriefghoff's dated pictures); Notes and Information; "Catalogue Raisonne" - French Canada; Bourgeois and Sportsmen of Montreal and Quebec (1847-1871); Canadian Indians; Miscellanea - Nude, Still Life, Copies, Illustrations, Lists. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown, browning to edges of text block with tiny foxing marks on bottom, spine is heavily sun faded - tiltle is legible, small liquid mark on front board, faint foxing and fading on boards, very small dent on top edge of rear board, very light wear and slight bump to corners. Interior is clean.

"I have been anxious to make this book as French Canadian in character as I could. In my illustrations I have therefore tried to follow the type of drawing and design that the French Canadian women make for their hooked rugs and other work." From the Author's Note.
