Limited edition reprint of 1862 edition. SPANISH TEXT. Color uniform studies, 4 including horses/mules. Interior - tiny foxing mark on first plate in white space, otherwise all pages are clean and tight with no previous owners h i p m a r k s . Among the issues covered in this report: Accidents; Hamilton, Annexation of Burlington Beach to; Radial Railway strike; London, Street Railway, Repair of; Niagara Falls Electric Light Extension By-law; St. Thomas Street Railway, Examiner of Motormen; Toronto, vs. Toronto Railway Company (lavatories, etc.), etc. Interior - company stamp on free front endpaper and at top of title page, endpapers very light browned and soiled, pages very lightly browned at margins. Exterior - wear at corners of boards, light to moderate edge wear, wear and small piece missing at top/bottom of spine, small bump at top of rear cover, browning to edges of textblock, a few tiny scuffs, light waviness to parts of cloth on rear board . 72 pp, 9 3/16" H. Dark blue cloth with gold lettering/decoration on front board. "The information given in the Roll is arranged in the same order for all names entered. The information concerning each is written in two parts. The first part in roman type gives the name in full, the home address, the certificate held, and the professional position at the time of enlistment. The remainder in italics gives the record of miliary service in the following order: date of enlistment, final military rank and the last military unit, the country in which the teacher served outside of Canada, casualties and decorations, if any, with the dates and names of the engagements associated therewith, and finally the date of discharge (or death)." "In addition, a special list will be found at page 67 of 226 other returned men who have been prepared for the teaching profession by special courses arranged for them by the Department during the summer of 1919, and the winters of 1918-19, 1919-20 and 1920-21." Also included: 'The Honoured Dead' and 'Military Honours' lists. Very small, light "676" stamped on title page under Ontario crest, tiny scuff on title page, minor browning mark on free front endpaper, light edge wear to boards/corners, wrinkling in cloth on spine. Rear board has tiny corner bump, small air bubble under cloth, scattered tiny soiling marks, light crease in cloth at bottom.
