For the past sixty years, he has lived in Thornhill, and his love and respect for the rural way of life is referred to by Barker Fairley in an introductory letter, also written for this book. An evaluation of his work by E.R. Hunter, art critic and author of a book on Thoreau MacDonald, is contained in the text." Exterior - slight twist to spine, tiny bump at top/bottom of rear hinge, small partial tear at bottom of front hinge, very light browning to cover edges and on spine. Dust jacket has light edge wear and light to moderate rubbing to covers, two small edge tears, protected in a mylar sleeve. Supplement: Interior - clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - light edge wear and light rubbing on covers, one small corner crease.
