Each volume has a different colour scheme for the covers, but incorporate the same motif of the side profile of an eagle with wings spread and silhouettes of four airplanes in the background. A sixth book is mentioned on the back of four of these volumes ('How to Fly'), but is not included here. Books are lightly cocked, light browning to edges of text blocks, light edge wear, a few tiny foxing marks on edges of text block of 'Radio for Aeroplanes', tiny bump and tear at bottom of spine of 'Aircraft Construction'
