The Period of Increased Jewish Acitivity - Beginning of German-Polish Immigration; A Glance at Social Relations; New Communities Founded; Communal Life and the Pacific Coast Settlement; On the Eve of Mass Immigration. Part Five. Free endpapers are heavily browned - also some areas on both pastedowns, previous owner's name on free front endpaper, minor browning to pages, light browning/soiling to edges of textblock, moderate edge rubbing, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine. Dust jacket has chips and tears - some with old archival tape, creases, light browning, area of surface paper loss on rear panel, light rubbing, tiny scuffs, now in mylar sleeve. VG-/Poor
